Abstract

Mastery motivation, related to a child’s socio-emotional and cognitive growth, was measured using DMQ 18. It has not been adapted in Indonesia, making collaboration research difficult. This research aimed to demonstrate how the ITC Guidelines could be used for adaptation. The sample included 169 kindergarten children. Data analysis utilized the second-order confirmatory factor. The model fits the requirements. Results showed that the adaptation of DMQ 18 fulfilled validity and reliability.
