About the Journal

The aim of the biannual blind peer-reviewed journal “Sustainable Multilingualism” is to focus on the phenomenon of multilingualism from the perspectives of various fields of research – language education, language policy and planning, linguistics (e.g., phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, etymology), applied linguistics (e.g., language acquisition, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, cognitive linguistics, neurolinguistics, linguistic anthropology, stylistics, computational linguistics, descriptive linguistics, corpus linguistics), history, philosophy, psychology, anthropology, sociology, and other branches of science related to language issues. The journal fosters sustainable multilingualism, the acquisition, and maintenance of plurilingual competence (individual multilingualism), and the development of societal multilingualism; therefore, the research findings are published in various official EU languages, presenting comprehensive summaries in Lithuanian and English.
