Abstract

Bronius Genzelis reviews his life and in greater detail recalls some significant events connected in one way or another with Lithuanian culture and history. His narrative discloses that although it was his academic work that was most important to him, Genzelis actively turned to politics as soon as Lithuanian rebirth began and the Reform Movement (Sąjūdis) was formed. But later after the situation had changed he returned to academic life and on February 1, 1997, became a professor at Vytautas Magnus University.
