Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Papers may be submitted on the understanding that the work has not been published before in other journals, is not considered for publication elsewhere and has been read and approved by all authors. Publisher is a member of CrossCheck and CrossRef plagiarism screening services. It means that all manuscripts were screened for the originality of content submitted before publication.

Scientists working in agricultural engineering field and interface between agriculture engineering and other fields of science are invated. Editorial board is organizing reviewing procedure of submitted papers fully on line and double blind.

Preparation of manuscripts. 

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts as a Word document in a single file that can be used by referees to evaluate the manuscript. Manuscripts should be written in clear English and ensure that the tone of the language is appropriate for an academic journal.

Formatting requirements

Copy of paper has to be submitted to the editorial board prepared in Windows Microsoft Word. Msnuscript has to be formatted and printed accordingly to the following requirements:
– page size A4, margins: left – 2,5 cm, right – 2,5 cm, top – 2,5 cm, bottom – 2,5 cm;
– text type Times New Roman, 11 pt, linespacing - Single, indentation - First line 0,6cm;
– title has to be written in capital letters, 12 pt, Bold;
– author(s) full name and family name has to be below title, 11 pt, Bold Italic;

- Institution has to be below author(s) name line, 11pt; 

– abstract and keywords has to be below authors without additional title, 10 pt;

Recommended length of Research Papers should be 5–10 pages. In typing the manuscript, titles and subtitles should not be run within the text. They should be typed on a separate line, centered, without indentation. Use lower-case lettertype.

Figures and tables should be embedded in text (Wrap text:in the line with text) and placed in appropriate places.  

Recommended structure of scientific paper: abstract (about 150-200 words), introduction, literature review, aim and goal of research, object and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acnowledgment, list of used references (it is desirable that the authors use the recent literature). Depending on paper features the structure can be slightly different.

– figures, schemes and diagrams has to be presented as computer graphic pictures (TIFF, EPS, JPG, PDF) and correct resolution: Black and white and colour photos - not less 120 dpi; Graphs, drawings, etc. - 300 dpi preferred.
If scaned, pictures need to be clear, text must be legible. The separate pages can be used if there are no possibilities to prepare clear digital pictures; size of figure need to be: minimum 5x5 cm and maximum - 15x15 cm; The full legend should have a description of the figure and allow readers to understand the figure without referring to the text. Titles and marks of/in figures has to be 10 pt; symbols and notations used in figures need to be specificated in figure legend. Figures should be included in the text and numbered according to their sequence with Arabic numerals. Do not put borders around the outside of your figures. – Titles and text of tables has to be 10 pt. Tables should be included in the text and numbered according to their sequence. All tables should have a brief and self-explanatory title. 

– all equations and symbols has to be prepared by Microsoft Word Equation, italic and numbered Arabic numerals in round brackets, 11pt.

Author names and affiliations. Where the family name may be ambiguous (e.g., a double name), please indicate this clearly. Present the authors' affiliation addresses including the country name (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address.

Corresponding author. Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication. Ensure that telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Information about Corresponding author has to be placed after references list.

Material and methods. Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.

Acknowledgements
Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references. Provide here any additional information concerning research grants. List here those individuals who provided help during the research (e.g., providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.)

References should be quoted in the text as name and year within brackets. In case the sources include more than one researcher, two authors are cited using “,” (Deane, Jones, 2010), more than two authors are cited “et al.”: (Smith et al., 2011). should be listed at the end of the paper alphabetically on author’s names and chronologically per author. All references must be complete and accurate. In case when the reference is written not in Roman script they should be transliterated http://translit.cc/  to Roman. Aside in the parenthesis should be presented translated reference in English. It is important, where possible the DOI for the reference should be included at the end of the reference. For example: S.Johnsons, H.O.Breneman, D.Richards. Online citations should include date of access. If necessary, cite unpublished or personal work in the text but do not include it in the reference list.
References should be listed in the following style:
