We, the Editorial Board of the international scientific journal Sustainable Multilingualism, strongly condemn Putin’s war against Ukraine - an independentand peaceful European country, against the World peace and his own people. We express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people and with our cooperation partners, researchers and scientists, teachers and students and fully support their actions to defend the country’s independence and territorial integrity. We condemn the statement issued by the Russian rectors’ conference on 4 March 2022 and declare that we refuse to accept manuscripts of researchers who justify the war or sign their articles with the name of a university that publicly defends this war.
