About the Journal

Law Review is a bilingual scientific journal - articles are published in Lithuanian and English. The scientific journal is published twice a year and is freely available on the Internet.

Scientific editorial board of the journal consists of the experts of various branches of law from Lithuanian and foreign universities.

An important feature of this journal is that students of the VMU Faculty of Law are involved in its publishing activities which improve students' skills of academic integrity and honesty, data collection and systemization and scientific work.

The scientific journal is published in CEEOL, Lituanistika, ERIH PLUS (European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences), Sherpa/RoMEO, HeinOnline international databases.

The Law Review is a peer reviewed full text online scientific Law journal that strives to publish articles on variety of current legal and interdisciplinary issues in the context of globalization.

Different categories of articles are published:

  • analysis of current legal regulation and it’s practical application;
  • scientific critical analysis;
  • highly scored student publications;
  • summaries (briefs) of the actual case law including comments and opinions;

current issues of legal regulation and its development.

Law Review is a refereed journal. Submissions are subject to academic peer-review. Every submitted manuscript receives at least two professional reviews, at least one of which is a double-blind review.
