Abstract

Effective socialization of new employees enables the organization to achieve its goals more effectively, increase employee commitment and reduce employee turnover. The article aims to determine what factors influence the socialization of newcomers. For this purpose, the article analyzes the case of socialization of new employees of organizations operating in the Baltic States. The results of the study showed that both the factors of institutionalized socialization and the proactivity of the employee himself are important for smooth socialization. The empirical model of socialization of new employees was developed on the basis of the research results.
