Juozas Gabrys-Paršaitis and His Correspondence with Editor of Lithuanian-American Newspaper Draugas, Priest Antanas Kaupas, 1911–1913

Abstract

The article provides a brief presentation of Juozas Gabrys-Paršaitis, a Lithuanian political figure. It discusses the research papers dedicated to him and gives evaluations. More attention is paid to his correspondence with the editor of the Lithuanian-American newspaper Draugas, priest Antanas Kaupas between 1911 and 1913. It publishes their letters focusing on the financing of Gabrys-Paršaitis’ propaganda activities in Western Europe. The letters also discuss the issues of publications in propaganda material and try to find the authors of potential publications.
