The aim of the article is to analyse the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Türkiye during the times of the First Republic of Lithuania based on the documents from the archives of both states evaluating the documents of accreditation and other relevant details. Since there were no direct Lithuanian representatives residing in the Republic of Türkiye during this period, representation was conducted though the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Lithuania in Moscow. The first envoy representing Lithuania to Türkiye was Jurgis Baltrušaitis (1932–1939) while the second was Ladas Natkevičius (1939–1940). The article is divided into two parts: the first part focuses on the diplomatic representation of Jurgis Baltrušaitis while the second part deals with the diplomatic representation of Ladas Natkevičius.
