Towards a sustainable urban environment: teacher competences and artificial intelligence to strengthen civic engagement in future generations

Abstract

The article examines the interaction between civic education, teacher competencies, and MI in promoting sustainable urban development. Recognizing civic engagement as a cornerstone of urban sustainability, teachers play a crucial role in shaping future citizens through culturally grounded and technologically enhanced pedagogical practices. The study uses a semantic and systematic literature review, using Scopus MI and PRISMA 2020 methodology to identify the latest theoretical insights.
