The relationship between pre-service teachers’ digital technology competencies and their attitudes towards artificial intelligence

Abstract

This quantitative study examines the relationship between pre-service teachers’ digital technology competencies and their attitudes toward artificial intelligence (AI). Data were collected from 260 participants using relevant scales. Results indicate a significant positive relationship between digital competencies and AI attitudes, highlighting the importance of digital training in teacher education.
