Information For Readers

Since 2006 the Lithuanian Emigration Institute has been publishing a scholarly journal called Oikos (from the Greek word meaning home) devoted to discussing contemporary migration processes involving Lithuania and other countries, the migration policies, problems of diaspora history and culture. The journal publishes original scholarly research and review articles, critical notices, and archival documents. In order to foster interdisciplinary research, it also publishes the results of scholarly research in sociology, anthropology, literary studies, history of literature, theater studies, history of migration policy, history of the diaspora, and related disciplines.
