Abstract

The research was carried out in three regional subdivisions of SE SFE (hereinafter RP) - in Nemenčinė, Druskininkai and Varėna RP 9 forest districts. The study covered pure Scots pine stands in the Na stand in the PR part of Lithuania. Dendrometric measurements were performed using an instrumental selective stand inventory method. The average abundance yield score was determined visually according to V. Kaper and the tree classes according to G. Kraft tree classification system. Based on the research data, it can be assumed that the fertility of Scots pine stands depends on the development classes of the trees. The mean fertility score decreases with deteriorating tree dendrometric (H and D) parameters. The yield of Scots pine does not depend on the sum of the stand widths. It was established that the pine stands of Druskininkai and Varėna RP are more or less in harmony - the average yield of 1.7 points according to V. Kaperis, and the average yield of pine stands of Nemenčinė RP is 1.5 points according to V. Kaperis. In individual forest districts, the average fertility score of pines ranged from 1.4 to 1.9 points according to V. Kapper's fertility scale.
