Abstract

Summarizing the results of the study and seeing the dependencies of the incidents on various factors, the infrastructure manager should assess the installation of artificial barriers at the most common incident sites in order to avoid direct or indirect damage and reduce the impact on the environment. Also, when organizing train traffic, the infrastructure manager should take into account the time course of wildlife migration and the intensity of migration. Depending on the intensity of migration, reduce the speed of trains on the relevant sections and install measures to repel wildlife.
