Abstract

The research was carried out in the Radviliškis regional subdivision of the State Forest Enterprise in the oak stands of Josvainiai and Ąžuolotas forest districts, which were restored in 2010-2013. 17 plots were selected according to the planting method, location and species composition. The total area is 36.9 ha. During the research the following was assessed: the species composition of the stand, the heights and diameters of oaks and other trees, the sanitary condition. It was found that the oaks reach the maximum average height in the Lf plantation planted in plots of 13 units. The choice of habitat and planting method does not significantly affect the average diameter of the oaks. The main cause of deterioration in the sanitary condition of oaks is flooding.
