Abstract

The article presents some results of research conducted on fallow deer and roe deer living in the wild. To investigate the impact of wild deer on the condition, distribution and distribution of deer populations. The surveys were conducted in two ways, accounting for traces under continuous snow cover and accounting for winter faecal piles. The research was carried out in Radžiūnai hunters' club, Dzirmiškės forest district, Prienai regional branch of the State Forest Enterprise, Alytus district. The area inhabited by deer was studied together with deer and deer-free areas. After analyzing the collected data, the results of the research were obtained, which I will present in the graphs.
