Road infrastructure maintenance and repair is a very important part of the transport system, which affects traffic safety and transport throughput. As transport intensity increases, road repair works carried out during the day often cause traffic disruptions, which cause traffic to stop or create kilometer-long traffic jams, public transport is delayed, and residents complain about poorly organized traffic. For these reasons, alternatives are being sought to carry out road repair works without disrupting traffic intensity. One of the alternatives to improve the performance of road repair works is work during the night. Carrying out road repair works during the night has challenges - organizational, material flow logistics challenges, and material flow technological challenges. Solutions are provided for all challenges to improve the performance of road repair works during the night. The aim of the study is to theoretically reveal the possibilities of improving the organization of material flow logistics for road repair during the night. Research methods - analysis of scientific literature. The problem examined in the article is road repair work, which is usually carried out during the day, when traffic intensity is high. Road repair work can also be carried out during the night, but the efficiency of work and the possibilities of organizing work during the night have not been evaluated. The results of the study may help to better understand the organization of work during the night.
