IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES: THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the problems of the quality of international cargo transportation services, to justify the solutions for improving the quality of international cargo transportation. The article analyzes the features of the quality of international cargo transportation services and highlights the quality problems of international cargo transportation services, also analyzes the solutions for improving the quality of international cargo transportation services. It was established that the main problems encountered are the different perceptions of the client and the service provider about quality service, cultural differences, language barriers, poor timeliness of the service, poor infrastructure of the country, damaged cargo, delays. Solutions that can help improve the quality of services provided - high level of company culture, improvement of employees' competence, implementation or renewal of new innovations, business management programs, high-level customer service.
