FORMATION, DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF ENGINEERING INFRASTRUCTURE IN LAND FORMATION AND CONVERSION PROJECTS

Abstract

The growing development of residential areas and the planning of these areas do not ensure the proper development of the engineering structure. When preparing a land plot formation and redevelopment project for large plots, there is undoubtedly a great need for social infrastructure, but the greatest need is the streets near each plot of land and other engineering networks, such as water supply, sewerage, electricity.

Kaunas district municipality was chosen due to the rapid growth of the population. During the analyzed years 2017 - 2021, the population of Kaunas district increased by 5637, while the population of Kaunas decreased by 3890. In order to evaluate the development of the engineering structure, a study was conducted with the aim to analyze the formation, development and use of the engineering infrastructure in Kaunas District Municipality during the preparation of land formation and redevelopment projects. In order to evaluate the development of the engineering structure, for the first time the analysis of the formation, development and use of the engineering infrastructure in the land formation and transformation projects was performed.

In Lithuania since 2017 until the 1^st of July, 2021 more than 23 thousands of projects were approved, of which 1,535 were in the selected municipalities. In the analyzed elderships, most of the projects are being reorganized so that the area for engineering infrastructure would be formed as a separate plot of engineering infrastructure, which would include the installation of communications and engineering networks. It is important that the designed easements for the development of existing roads are designed not only for the area that is being reorganized but also for all interested persons.
