The Concept and Approaches of Biblical Creation Theory

In the book of Genesis God and his creative activity is portrayed, even it is not the main theme of the Old Testament but pointing up in terms of theology of universe, life and the human origin, the creation stories (Gen. 1–2 chapters) are fundamental texts. According to the mentality, culture, worldview of that time it was wanted to reveal not how the world, life and man was made but why. Only God is the Creator and the cause of everything. He made both man in his own image and pursued likeness and appointed him as his coworker. By advanced human knowledge in the course of centuries and emerging of theology as a science, it is in relation to the achievements of natural sciences and the challenges coming from this that gave answers by developing of four creationist theories. As a most answering to the challenges of modern science also together in keeping with fundamental theory of the idea of Creator is the theistic evolutionism. The most important inducement in direction of creationist exploration is Ch. Darwin’s theory of evolution.
