Abstract

Using the SATAI scale, this study assesses attitudes towards artificial intelligence among 351 students at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences. Attitudes were positive and significantly more favorable among students with programming skills and frequent AI use. Educational use was associated with stronger behavioural attitudes than curiosity-driven use. The findings support embedding applied AI training in university curricula to strengthen technological awareness and adoption.
