Open Access and Licensing Policy

Deeds and Days adheres to an open access policy and publishes all articles under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) licence. This means that the content of the journal is freely available to all readers are free to read, download, copy, distribute, adapt or otherwise use the articles for any lawful purpose, provided that the original author and source are credited, and any subsequent works or adaptations are distributed under the same terms.

In addition, Deeds and Days does not assign copyright in articles published in the open access. This means that authors retain the copyright in their works and have the right to distribute them as they see fit. This allows authors to maximise the audience for their work beyond the readers of a single journal.

Such a licence not only ensures the dissemination of research results without subscriptions or paid access, but also promotes creativity and scientific progress, and enhances the transparency, accessibility and impact of research for academia and society.
