This article analyzes the dynamics of stable microclimate parameters (temperature and relative humidity) during the winter and summer periods and their impact on horse welfare. The aim of the study is to evaluate the existing microclimate based on the Temperature-Humidity Index (THI) and to propose engineering solutions for its optimization. The study was conducted in an insulated stable with 25 stalls, using "Termioplus" data loggers. The results showed that during the cold season, the existing ducted ventilation system does not ensure sufficient moisture removal, which increases the risk of respiratory diseases. Severe heat stress was recorded during the summer when the temperature inside the stable exceeded the recommended norms. In order to prevent horse overheating and optimize resource consumption, it is proposed to install an automated adiabatic cooling system (axial fans with misting nozzles) controlled according to THI indicators. Based on analogous studies, such a solution would not only ensure stable animal welfare by maintaining a safe THI level but also reduce electricity and water consumption.
