Growing customer desires, geopolitical factors and other transportation disruptions are just a few of the many factors that demonstrate the fragility of the supply chain. The purpose of this report is to analyze the current risk management situation in a parcel transportation company and present opportunities for their improvement. The applied analysis of scientific literature and documents allows us to identify risks encountered in practice, and interviews allowed us to learn about existing risks and methods for their management. The study found that the company lacks a risk assessment tool and clearly defined procedures. It is indicated that the most common risks are related to vehicle breakdowns, lack of human resources and external environmental factors. Analysis of the results suggests that systematic risk identification and application of preventive measures could reduce operational disruptions, losses and contribute to long-term competitiveness enhancement.
