THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE LOGISTICS OF SECONDARY RAW MATERIALS COLLECTION AND PROSPECTS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Keywords:

The rapid creation of new businesses not only increases the supply of goods and services, but also causes negative consequences associated with the growing amounts of secondary raw materials. As a result, ensuring effective logistics for the collection of secondary raw materials is becoming an increasingly urgent problem. This problem is a constant challenge for entities in the waste management sector, which must quickly adapt to the increasing diversity of waste fractions and consistently improve the organization of waste collection work. The aim of the article is to theoretically identify the possibilities for improving the logistics of the collection of secondary raw materials. After analyzing scientific sources, the main theoretical directions for improving the logistics of collecting secondary raw materials were identified: implementation of technological solutions (application of artificial intelligence for route optimization, forecasting collection volumes and monitoring processes), improvement of managerial and organizational solutions (more efficient distribution of work, appropriate and informative labeling of containers, clearly providing significant information about the companies or other objects served), public education (in educational institutions and by organizing project activities on sorting topics, providing clear sorting instructions, including QR codes with links to additional information material) and public promotion (application of financial incentives, discounts and provision of information about sorted quantities).
