Warehouse digitalization has emerged as a key driver of efficiency and performance improvement in modern logistics systems. The integration of advanced digital technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and data analytics has significantly transformed traditional warehouse operations. The aim of this study is to analyse how digitalization enhances warehouse operational effectiveness. The research is based on a comprehensive review of academic literature and industry reports focusing on digital transformation in warehousing. The study examines the implementation of real-time inventory tracking systems, automated storage and retrieval technologies, AI-driven optimization tools, and smart data management solutions. The findings indicate that digitalization improves inventory accuracy, reduces operational costs, increases productivity, and enhances real-time visibility across warehouse processes. Furthermore, digital technologies support faster and more informed decision-making, leading to improved service quality and customer satisfaction. The results also show that digital warehouses contribute to better resource utilization and operational flexibility. Overall, the adoption of digital solutions in warehousing provides significant competitive advantages and plays a crucial role in the development of efficient and responsive supply chains.
