Santrauka

The accelerating digital transformation of global markets has fundamentally reshaped business logistics systems and supply chain management practices. The integration of advanced digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain, robotics, and big data analytics enables organizations to enhance operational efficiency, increase transparency, and improve decision-making accuracy. However, digitalization also introduces substantial challenges, including cybersecurity risks, high implementation costs, technological integration complexity, and workforce adaptation requirements. The aim of this article is to analyse the key challenges and innovations influencing business logistics in the digital era. The research is based on scientific literature analysis, comparative evaluation of traditional and digital logistics models, and conceptual synthesis of recent industry developments. The findings indicate that digital technologies significantly improve supply chain agility, resilience, and customer responsiveness, yet their successful implementation depends on strategic alignment and organizational readiness. The study concludes that sustainable competitive advantage in modern logistics requires balanced integration of technological innovation, human capital development, and risk management strategies.
