INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS IN ORGANIZATION OF FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION

Abstract

Logistics remains one of the most important sectors, strongly influenced by advances in various technologies and innovations, growing consumer expectations, and ever-increasing digitization. The diversity of innovations being implemented provides an opportunity to optimize supply chains, reduce various costs, and at the same time increase efficiency by ensuring higher quality services. This article analyzes the process of freight transport organization from a theoretical perspective, the factors influencing it, and presents opportunities for improving freight transport organization through technological innovations. After synthesizing the scientific literature, a theoretical model was formed that illustrates the freight transport organization system, showing the interrelationships and dependencies between the factors that determine the process, the stages of transport organization, and the application of technological innovations and the decision-making process.
