Abstract

Renewable fuels are one of the greener choices in the transportation system. The carbon-based nanomaterials discussed in the paper have excellent properties that allow them to be used as fuel additives to reduce harmful diesel exhaust emissions. Nanoparticles are widely used in various fields due to their unique thermal conductivity. The paper reviews the influence and impact of nanomaterials (carbon plates) on diesel engine exhaust emissions such as CO2, CO, O2, NOx, NO2, NO.
