Abstract

At this study is carried out to investigate ways and methods to reduce electricity consumption in industrial premises. This thesis aims to identify and propose options for saving and reducing electricity consumption in the researched facility. The work includes electrical calculations to determine the most suitable capacity of the solar power plant for the company and the selection of modules, new lighting fixtures, and automatic protection measures in the power and lighting network. Diagrams of the DC and AC solar power plant were drawn up and drawings of the layout of the power plant and luminaires on site were provided. The work also includes an assessment of the safety and ecological solutions for the work, and the selection of earthing and lightning protection devices.

The conditions and options proposed to enable each production company to reduce its energy consumption and become an efficient and competitive company in the production and storage sector.
