Abstract

The experiment was conducted in 2022, on a family farm in the village Verėduva, Raseiniai district. In the selected study area (Calc(ar)iEpihypogleyic Luvisol) prevail. According to the granulometric composition, the soil belongs to medium loam (p1). Soil pH is around 6.9. The spring wheat variety 'Hamlet' was chosen for the experiment, which was sown by coating the seeds with biological preparations. In subsequent stages, the fields are sprayed with biological preparations according to the experimental scheme. Purpose of the experiment is to determine influence of biological preparations and their methods of use on wheat crop yield, the number of productive stems and quality indicators of wheat.

During the test, biological preparations did not show significant differences at all cases. A significant 12% increase in the spring wheat yield was observed when using preparations for seed wilting and later spraying them on the plants (P<0.05). Only by spraying or applying biological preparations on the plants, no significant differences noticed. The use of biological preparations in all cases showed an insignificant change in the number of productive stems of wheat. Covering the seeds, and spraying them with biological preparations on the plants, did not have a significant effect on the quality indicators of wheat.
