The vegetative basil experiment was conducted in Open Access Joint Research Centre of Agriculture and Forestry greenhouse in VMU Agriculture Academy in 2021. A two-factor experiment was performed. Factor A – different lighting lamps LED and HPS, factor B – biostimulators seaweed Ecklonia maxima concentrate, suspension of humic and fulvic acids, humous peat extract. Research aim was the influence of biostimulants of different lightings on the height and qualitative indicators of basil. Research data were evaluated by the method of variance analysis using the program DISVEG from the software package SELECTION (Tarakanovas, Raudonius, 2003).
Mostly, the best qualitative and biometric indicators were best when the plants were grown under HPS lighting. It is clear from the research results that only peat extract had a significant effect on the amount of chlorophyll a and b in the plant.
