PLASTIC WASTE MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS IN AGRICULTURE AND THEIR POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

Abstract

Regardless of whether it is a crop, livestock or mixed farm, plastic products are inevitably used in order to increase the efficiency of the farm. Plastic products as aids or tools facilitate processes on the farm. However, as the farm grows proportionally, the consumption of plastic products also grows, as a result of which the farm produces more and more plastic waste. As the amount of plastic waste increases, it is extremely important to manage it efficiently so that as little waste as possible enters the environment. In the article, we were convinced that the inefficient management of plastic waste affects our health and in the future this influence can only increase. Micro plastic particles enter our bodies through water and food. Today's farms are putting more and more effort into controlling the release of plastic into the environment, but they need help, suggestions and recommendations on how to manage it even more effectively. The work provides a recommendation for a special container that can help farmers effectively manage plastic waste generated on farms, thus ensuring that it does not enter the environment and is properly disposed of. The practice of a special container is already used in other countries, so it is also offered to farmers in our country.
