Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the stability of the road bed by evaluating the geological conditions, the amount of groundwater, the external load and the influence of the measures that increase the stability of the slope. The computer software complex GEOSTUDIO SLOPE/W was used to calculate the stability of the slope. A slope stability model was created by modeling the slopes, and 3 different slope stability options were analyzed. based on the obtained analysis results, we can perform simulations that influence the stability of the slope in the case of weak soils. After analyzing the literature, it was found that in the case of weak peaty soil, there are problems with the stability of the embankment slope due to the variation of the soil volume. From the simulation results obtained in the work, it can be concluded that measures increasing the stability of the slope can be used properly.
