USE OF LASER SCANNING DATA FROM AIRCRAFT TO DETERMINE THE VALUE OF PRIVATE FORESTS

Abstract

The plot inventory of private forests has been interrupted or carried out episodically during the preparation of the internal forest management plan. The state forest cadastre in private forests is not substantially updated. A private forest owner, an investor, needs to know the value of the forest here and now. To fill the data gap, use the help of LiDAR technology, revised in the field of media tourism, to study the possibilities of using this data.
