Abstract

The article analyzes the possibilities of improving storage processes in company X. In order to increase the efficiency of the warehouse, advanced warehouse management systems are used, which can be used to properly store warehouse areas, improve stock layout, and optimize many of the work performed by warehouse staff. Modern warehouse systems allow you to track the number of orders, stock levels in real time.

Research methods - analysis of company documents, monitoring.

The data of the study revealed the remaining storage problems of the company X arising in the storage processes. Warehouses for raw materials and finished products are properly equipped, clearly marked storage areas are used, modern shelving and loading equipment are used. Insufficient storage areas were observed in the inter-process warehouses, and the company's internal documents show that a higher number of stocks is recorded than expected in the storage areas. Considering that the company's deployment of Infor® M3, a cloud-based production and planning ERP system, does not adequately meet the expectations of warehousing systems, it is not possible to see inventory movements and inventory balances in the company's warehouses in real time.

The company is proposed to implement a warehouse management system based on RFID technology, which will improve the efficiency of logistics operations, provide product information even when the product is moving, reduce the number of errors, and record the movement of warehouses in real time.
