Abstract

The main purpose of this article was to develop a methodology for energy consumption and GHG emissions in agriculture that would help identify trends in these phenomena and assess changes, while revealing the link between energy consumption and GHG emissions. Scientific literature, systematic and comparative analysis, generalization, graphical representation methods were used for the analysis. To analyze changes in energy consumption in agriculture and GHG emissions related to energy consumption, scientists are proposing a method of decomposition analysis of LMDI. This method is characterized by simple use and clarity in the presentation of results. Decomposition analysis provides a better understanding of the impact of various factors on energy consumption and GHG emissions.
